While the rest of the world has their bubble football national team assigned, England has been lagging behind. Well no longer, as the England Qualifiers will be kicking off in June, as the 32 team tournament will be taking place to find the team to represent the three lions.
The date has been set as the 25th June, coming one week after Father’s Day and two weeks after the big game between England and Scotland.
The event will last the entire day, with a 9:00am arrival and games kicking off at 10:30am, lasting all the way until 18:00. With eight groups setup for the 32 team tournament, it means every team that enter will get to play a minimum of three games.
This means all it takes to play for your country at an international tournament is 7 intense matches before you become a national sports figure. From there, you will have a year to prepare for the World Cup, which is kicking off in May 2018.
Expect to see a number of big names on the sidelines as we continue to receive enquiries from former footballers and local celebrities wanting to take part. We will also have a press box setup for a number of journalists, so expect to see yourself in a few papers the next day!
